Last weekend I was invited to my cousin’s 50^th wedding anniversary hosted by their three lovely daughters and their husbands. It was a gallant affair in a beautiful French/European flavoured restaurant. Other then the regular cardinal minds, no shows and family feuds which don’t get me wrong or misunderstand me I am one of the king leaders of the feuds. The evening was awesome. A once in a lifetime affair. However, what was really eye opening for me was after the weekend and being back in Toronto I decided to call one of my cousin’s to tell them how nice it was to see them again. This was going to be a light conversation even though inside I wanted to talk about self development. For some reason unknown to me I get these fight or flight episodes where I have to talk about my process. Knowing my cousin would never understand and heeding the cautions of secrecy given by the masters I started the conversation on a very light note. However, before long I found out not only did my cousin understand but was ahead of me in development. In fact my cousin told me that while facing a personal issue and taking courses an instructor had told them they were God. This caused one man to get so upset that he said, “I’m not God there is only one God and this course is not for me.” Wow! This all happen 9 years ago in 2000. So here I am thinking that my cousin would never understand what I’m going through and I was totally wrong. The divine knew I was hurting, knew I needed to talk and provided from, what to me was the most unlikely source. I’m amazed at just how little I know. What Does Divine Design Mean?

When I first thought about this I was really confused. In fact to be candid I’m still not sure I have it 100% right. When we read quotes in the bible and other places we hear thing like, Not my will but thyne be done, give us this day our daily bread, Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? If this is true then what is really being said here. What does all this mean? I believe Florence Scovel Shinn is saying in her book, “The Game of Life and How to Play it”. That all we have to do is believe in the Divine and all will be added unto you. As our faith strengthens in this area manifestation happens at a rapid rate. Of course the Quid pro quo here is that you have to have a Christ Consciousness. Now up to 2008/2009 to what Dr. Robby is saying and this all starts to really make sense. Dr. Robby states you have to have the 7 essential attitudes of Love and be in gratitude. One of the things he gave me was my imaginary dozen egg carton which I have to fill with the things I’m grateful for each day. This all sounds so simple but within this formula I believe lies our Divine Life the one the Florence Scovel Shinn describes.

For me the summer, in fact all of 2009 has just seemed to disappear. It’s been approximately 10 months now since my journey of self discovery really took a great shift. This is when I was introduced to Dr. Robby Bilton. The thing I like the most about Dr. Robby is that he not only speaks, writes and teaches but he recommends other people. Anything to help you discover your true self. One of my favorite authors is Florence Scovel Shinn. It was Dr. Robby’s book Divine Confidence that helped me realize the full impact of her writing. The lady was and is awesome. In her book the Game of Life and How to Play It she states, and I quote, “This is easy enough to state in the abstract, but a little more difficult when confronted with a problem. I encourage you to study with me and discover your true self.

I feel compelled to say that anything expressed on this blog are my opinions and my idea’s and in no way are being censored or indorsed by Lifequestpublishing.com or Dr. Robby or any of their many affiliates. This is strictly myself study and my evolution.

The above verse in the bible has always resonated with me and now as I go through the process of realizing I create my reality I’m starting to see how profound this verse actually is. The words we say and think are what controls are subjective reality.

Welcome to The World of Don Hurst

Hello World! No insult to WordPress but it’s taken me almost 30 days to get to this point. The reason or purpose of this BLOG is to help people like myself who find themselves stuck, blocked and generally out of hope.

Lucky for me or maybe it wasn’t luck I was able to bring a pretty fantastic person into my life. Now with his help and guidance he’s offered me the opportunity to allow you to study under me.
